Louise was in the Chair today and opened the meeting with a moment of silence in honour of the President of the Mountain West Riverview Club, Yves Maillet,  who died suddenly earlier this week.
Louise also informed the members that Charlie was back in hospital earlier this week.  Apparently he was sent home a little too early before having his stitches removed.  Gayle reported that he was now back at home.
The cheque presentation today had our winner, Keith Ward , taking  home a cheque for $1,278.  Keith’s number was drawn on April 1st and he was glad that it wasn't an April Fools joke.
We had, as our guest today,  Chad Exley, who was checking out the Club and is a potential new member. There are no visiting Rotarians.
In the makeup department,  Wynn had 2 make up's in Florida, one from Leesburg Sunrise and one from the Golden Triangle Club.   Morgan also had to make up in Fredericton.  Various other committees makeups have been reported to the Edna .
Stacey will celebrate another birthday on Saturday.
Pin Pal Stories……. Susan reported that Colin is now back in Oxford England and is recruiting members for the Rotaract club of Oxford.
The 50/50 draw this week was a whopping $8.  Darrell had the winning ticket but drew the 5 spades   The  $8 will be added into the pot for next week.
Happy Dollars……. Louise had both happy and sad dollars.   Last week her elderly neighbour from Prince Edward Island passed away. On the happy side, a cousin of hers was diagnosed as  cancer free.... Susan Fisher was happy that the Rotaract club of Sackville was in the process of collecting leftover items from the students.   These items will go to other returning students to be recycled.... Wynn was happy to be back from his winter vacation in Florida.   Last weekend he hosted a  Golf Tournament in the morning,  drove Sharen to the airport and put her on a plane and then drove 300 Kms the same day,  All told, it took him 3 days to come home (3000 kilometers  in 3 days arriving last night at 10 PM last night).. ... Stacey was happy as she is celebrating her second year since her first Rotary meeting.  This corresponds with her Birthday each year..... Dale reported that the Rod and Gun bartending event is organised and ready to go .   Morgan will be replacing Patricia as a bartender..... Dianne was happy - next week is her daughter's birthday.   For a present she sent her a tickets for a Jane Goodall presentation and Dianne will be acting as babysitter.

Committee Meetings – The Club Admin Committee will be meeting at 9 AM today.
Today's meeting was a club assembly.   President Louise  asked the various committees to get together and have a discussion on what they're doing.  Noisy 18-way conversations raised the decibel level to new highs.
The meeting concluded with the 4-way-test.
