He is excited, though, to be picking up his 20 month old granddaughter and her staff at the airport at noon for a long weekend visit…..Louise’s niece is going to Scotland for a term in January 2020 for a student exchange, a wonderful opportunity…..Gayle’s is more of an update; Charlie is going to hospital for examination and possibly a stent. Committee Reports: Spring Bash: Louise discussed the details of the April 27th Spring Bash at TRHS. As Chair, Jamie has begun to enlist sponsors and vendors. RE/Max will be the Gold sponsor; there are 5 Silver and 10 Bronze sponsorships available. Club Admin: Diane outlined the March 24th sleigh ride. It needs 20 people signed up in order to go ahead. As of today, 12 people are @on board@. Upcoming Meetings: Club Administration – March 12th at Edna’s house. Spring Bash: March 27th at 5:15 at Mary’s house. Rotary Training: Marita will be attending a training session in Dieppe. Speaker: Bill introduced Kate Doyle, Community Developer with Horizon Health Network. She spoke about the Community Health Needs Assessment, which she spearheads, and discussed the report of the Tantramar Health Advisory for Action Committee. Her proactive approach to community needs pointed to areas in which the club can contribute.
